Hi. I'm a 'Junior Professor' at TU Dortmund University working on topics in the ethics of technology, political philosophy, and moral psychology.
Prior to coming to Dortmund, I held positions at Utrecht University, the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, KIT Karlsruhe and RWTH Aachen University. I received my philosophical training at Tübingen University (where I received my PhD), Cambridge University, and Sciences Po Paris.
Some topics I'm currently thinking about include a) the ethics of surveillance and big data b) techno-optimism, c) political legitimacy and its relation to distributive justice, and d) the role of higher-order evidence in argumentation.
